DF readers have noticed the Nooksack River level forecast for next week looks a little concerning, especially if you drive the first-to-flood roads and/or live near the banks of the river.
While we will be keeping an eye on the forecast, it is not unusual for it to change a lot over time. At this point, the forecast can be best seen as a prediction of heavy rains expected in the mountains and locally just prior to the peaks in the forecast.
