8am: Good morning. Temperatures are near 20° around the Ferndale area under clear skies with wind from the north. Air quality is being reported in the GOOD range. The record low on this date at the Bellingham Airport was 19°, set in 1964.
The Ferndale School District announced classes have been canceled for today and tomorrow at all schools. The next two weeks are winter break. Classes are scheduled to resume Tuesday, January 3rd. Other agencies and businesses are also closed or opening late today due to driving conditions.
A Wind Advisory has been issued for 2am to noon tomorrow.
