7:50am: Good morning. Temperatures in the Ferndale area are in the low 60s under a clear sky with little to no breeze. Forecasters are predicting a high in the 80s today.
TRAFFIC
Washington Street between Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue remains closed to through traffic until at least September. The official detour route is via Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue.
The Lummi Island Ferry, Whatcom Chief, is scheduled to be out of service from 12:30pm to 1:20pm today for its regularly scheduled fueling.

Click for more informationI-5 roadwork between Ferndale and Blaine is scheduled to continue this evening and road crews are expected to close the I-5 northbound on- and off- ramps at Portal Way (Exit 263).
