Today’s morning commute – weather – events. Right here in Ferndale.
7:45am: Good morning. Temperatures around Ferndale are in the mid-50s under low clouds with a breeze from the south. Yesterday was a lot windier than predicted but gusts remained below 30mph throughout the day. Today is already a little breezier than forecast.
TRAFFIC
The Washington Street between Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue remains closed to through traffic at least until September. The official detour route is via Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue.
I-5 roadwork between Ferndale and Blaine will be suspended over the long Canadian/US holiday weekend (Thursday to Monday) and will resume Tuesday night. But heads up! Main Street on- and off-ramp closures are planned for next week.
