WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — A snow event covered Whatcom County with a few inches of snow, temperatures dropped into the teens in most areas and wind gust speeds continued rising through the day today, December 25th. Amidst all this, over 3,500 Puget Sound Energy (PSE) customer addresses were reported to be without power.

No causes were provided for the outages and no estimates were available for restoring power as of 9pm. PSE was reporting over 5,000 were without power across their Puget Sound service area.
