UPDATE 7:15pm
Appears most of the this weather dissipated or passed Ferndale to the south. Either way, this became a non-event for most with only a few sprinkles in Ferndale.
UPDATE 5:00pm:
Heavy rain is being reported just south of Bellingham by Lake Samish.

Typically dark clouds to the east have already passed us but today that ominous-looking wall of dark clouds is heading our way.
Given our current warm temperature, it’s not unreasonable to expect a squall with gusty winds and heavy rains as well as the potential for a thunder storm.
