Sunday morning update

Today’s commute – weather – events. Right here in Ferndale.

6:20am: Good morning. It is a dry but cold morning in Ferndale with temperatures in the upper 30s. But a weather front is due to arrive later this morning bringing a return of rain and blustery winds.

Yesterday it was reported here the NW Clean Air Agency air quality monitoring station in Custer was reporting air quality in the “Moderate” range. Fortunately, measurements since then have returned to within the “Good” range and have remained there since.

The Ferndale weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies this morning. But that will give way to cloudy skies and rain this afternoon. Expect the high in the upper 40s with east-northeast winds shifting later to south from 10 to 20mph. The chance of rain is 80%.
