8:05am: Good morning. Temperatures are in the low 60s around Ferndale under partly cloudy skies with light and variable wind. Air quality is being reported in the GOOD range. Today’s high temperature is forecast to be about 10° cooler than yesterday. Yesterday’s high, as recorded at a weather station near Ferndale High School, was 87°.
TRAFFIC
Washington Street between Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue remains closed to through traffic until at least September. The official detour route is via Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue.
This weekend’s second Ride from Seattle to Vancouver and Party (RSVP) event hosted by the Cascade Bicycle Club is currently heading north out of Bellingham via Northwest Drive. Drivers can expect delays.
