10am: City staff announced the 5pm Star Park ribbon cutting has been rescheduled to 7pm today.
8:35am: Good morning. This morning’s update is a little later than normal due to sleeping in during this beautiful weekend.
Temperatures around Ferndale are already reaching into the 70s giving credence to a forecast of highs in the 80s again today. A small craft advisory has been issued on the water beginning at 6pm so winds this evening on land shouldn’t come as a surprise.
TRAFFIC

TRAFFIC ALERT: Roadwork on northbound I-5 is scheduled to restart this evening about 7pm until 11am tomorrow. The northbound on- and off-ramps at the Birch Bay-Lynden interchange (exit 270) are scheduled to be closed during this time.
