Summer Meals Program picks up where school meals leave off in June

summer-mealsThe Summer Meals Program providing free meals and snacks to students age 18 and under all summer long is available in Ferndale. All kids are welcome and no proof of income, address or citizenship is required.

In Ferndale, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County will be serving free lunches and afternoon snacks Monday through Friday, June 27th to August 19th (except July 4th) at the Ferndale Branch. Lunches will be served from 12:30pm to 1:00pm and afternoon snacks will be served at 3:30pm.

Ferndale is just one of hundreds of sites across Washington State providing free meals for kids. This federally funded program, known as the Summer Meals Program, is open to the public and no enrollment or registration is necessary.
