SUMAS, Wash. — Nori Sushi & Teriyaki, 520 Cherry Street in Sumas, has reopened for take-out service after repairs were made following the mid-November flood disaster.

The disastrous flooding came shortly after the business had just reopened after completing a substantial interior remodeling.

Locals were worried that the business would not be able to reopen again according to Sumas Chamber President Nicole Sandoval Postma. “Not only is their food and service great, but they are 1 of only 3 restaurants in town,” she added.
