SUDDEN VALLEY, Wash. — Lake Whatcom Boulevard is scheduled to be closed between Lake Louise Road in Sudden Valley and Cain Lake Road in Sedro-Woolley between Monday, June 5th, and Wednesday, June 7th, from 8am to 4pm daily due to roadwork.

Whatcom County Public Works crews “will perform various roadway maintenance in the area, including mowing, brush trimming, asphalt patching, guardrail repair, sign maintenance, and ditch cleaning,” according to a WCPW announcement.

The road will remain open to local traffic and motorists are advised to “plan for long delays and use alternate routes if possible.”

Maintenance crews are also expected to close Lake Louise Road on Thursday, June 8th, for mowing and other maintenance activities between 8am to 4pm.
