The National Weather Service has issued a high wind watch for Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening.
As if the Ferndale area has not had its fill of windstorms, another is being forecast for Sunday. According to the high wind watch issued by the NWS,
Southeast to south winds 20 to 40 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH are possible from noon Sunday through Sunday evening.
The saturated ground increases the risk of falling trees during storms this strong. Trees weaken by the latest windstorm may also be vulnerable to falling.
