You may recall the recent Ferndale Future Chef competition at the FHS cafeteria. Skyline Elementary School fourth grader Sophia Tobler took the gold medal for her “Sophia’s Super Smoothie.” In addition to receiving a gift basket of kitchen items, Tobler got the opportunity to move on to the regional competition.
At the regional competition, “Sophia’s Super Smoothie” was again selected as one of Sodexo’s regional Future Chef winner. Tobler received a certificate and an Apple iPad Mini and the opportunity to go on to compete to become one of the five national finalists competing for the public’s vote on a special Future Chefs YouTube channel.
