Smoke From Canadian Fires Cause Worries

Ferndale neighbors are a little jittery with the high fire danger around us. So it is no wonder Discover Ferndale has received a few tips about fires that weren’t there.

About 50 wildfires sprang up over the weekend around Pemberton, Canada and the north-east winds are pulling the smoke down over much of the Puget Sound region.

This makes it not only difficult to detect the early stages of a real nearby fire but it also is troublesome for those with asthma and other breathing difficulties.
