Skyline Elementary new running track construction is underway

Skyline Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) officials say they were excited to see construction begin last Friday on a track path for students.

The 1/4-mile gravel path is being built on the lower field area west of school buildings.

PTO officials said students and families worked together to raise money over the last two years via Walk-a-Jog-a-Thon fundraisers to cover the cost to engineer and build the running track and accompanying drainage.
