BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham Police Department officers responding to 2 noise complaints at an apartment building in the in 800 block of Viking Circle about 12:20am on Sunday, April 24th, radioed their dispatch they had heard gunshots upon their arrival.
Unconfirmed initial law enforcement radio transmissions from the scene indicated there was 1 victim with a gunshot wound and another with facial lacerations.
Multiple law enforcement agencies were provided a description of a suspect and established a perimeter around the area.
A suspect was reported to have been located and detained according to unconfirmed radio transmissions at the time.
Officials with Bellingham Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for details.
