BLAINE, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle on Blaine Road by Drayton Harbor Road about 5:30pm, Tuesday, March 7th. It was initially reported that the motorcyclist had been ejected during the crash.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Kelsey Harding told Whatcom News a car and motorcycle were involved but it was not certain they collided as opposed to having made radical maneuvers to avoid a collision.
The white 2004 Chevrolet Captiva gray 2007 Mazda 6‘s driver was ejected at the scene and was transported from the scene by a medic unit to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center.
The involved motorcycle fled the scene according to Harding.
Blaine Road was closed to traffic in both directions while investigators worked the scene.
The Washington State Patrol’s investigation is continuing.
