FERNDALE/LYNDEN, Wash. — Puget Sound Energy (PSE) reports 2 separate power outages that began about the same time and about 5 miles apart have impacted nearly 400 of their customer addresses in Ferndale and Lynden.
PSE said the Ferndale area outage began about 4:45pm and impacted 209 customer addresses. The Lynden area outage began about 4:40pm and impacted about 164 customers addresses.
As of 5:20pm, both outages were under investigation and an estimate for restoring power is 7pm.
Update 6:30pm: PSE reported the Lynden outage was caused by equipment failure.
