There was another vehicle fire this morning. A pickup truck on fire was reported by law enforcement on the scene with the pickup truck owner. Fire was dispatched to the location, Portal Way and Faris Road. The fire was mostly out but smoke was still coming from the vehicle when fire arrived.

Initial reports from units arriving at the scene are the fire has been extinguished.

A semi truck fire on northbound I-5 by the Portal Way interchange has been reported. Whatcom County Fire District 7 units are responding.
