Saturday morning update

Today’s commute – weather – events. Right here in Ferndale.

5:45am: Good morning. It a colder, wetter and breezier morning this morning. But expect the weather to turn around and deliver a nicer day.

It should be noted that the NW Clean Air Agency air quality monitoring station in Custer reports air quality has stepped from the “Good” range into the “Moderate” range a few times since 4pm yesterday. These appear as spikes as opposed to a general trend so they are likely to be anomalies (eg equipment failure, immediate environmental influences) rather than a general state of the air quality. An alert will be posted if anything further comes of this.

Check Discover Ferndale’s road closures and hazards map for flooding impacted roads as there still are a few.
