Willand’s Tech-Auto Owner Ron Willand was out early this morning tending to the downtown garden he maintains at 2nd Avenue and Vista Drive.
Willand spent the morning hauling and arranging railroad ties around the garden space. That’s no small task since an 8.5-ft railroad tie weighs upwards of 200 lbs. Fortunately a passing stranger saw him lugging the ties around by himself and stepped in to help out.
Next time you see Ron, give him a big “atta-boy” for helping make Ferndale’s downtown a more beautiful place to work and live.
