BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A first responder radioed their dispatchers about 7:35am on Wednesday, June 29th, after coming upon a rollover crash in the northbound lanes of I-5 north of W Bakerview Road.

Initial reports from the scene were of 1 vehicle off the roadway in the median and another off the roadway in the grass on the east side.

First responders had 1 lane temporarily blocked while treating the injured and investigating the crash.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Jacob Kennett said none of the occupants’ injuries required transport to the hospital. He did not have details about how the crash unfolded but said 1 of the drivers was cited for driving while dangerously distracted.
