DEMING, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to the area near the intersection of Mount Baker Highway (SR542) and E 45th Drive about 9:10pm, Friday, March 25th, due to a report of a single vehicle rollover crash and the vehicle was on fire.

Initial reports from the scene were that all occupants were out of the vehicle and injuries were minor.
Firefighters with Whatcom County Fire District 1 responded and extinguished what was described as a small engine fire.
Traffic was reported to be backed up for a mile in both directions until the scene could be cleared.
Seems to be an over abundance of rollover crashes these days. Is anyone checking on any correlating factors, such as types of cars or cars with driving assist features? Just curious.
