BELLINGHAM, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to I-5 immediately north of the Old Fairhaven Parkway today, June 30th, about 11:30am, due to a report of a crash.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Glahn said a northbound vehicle ended up in the median after rolling. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Glahn said the driver was transported by ambulance to PeaceHealth St Joseph’s Medical Center as a precaution. Impairment by drugs or alcohol were not being considered a factor.
First responders blocked the left northbound lane resulting in a traffic back up that extended 2 miles by 12:15pm.
All lanes were momentarily blocked about 12:40pm to allow for the vehicle to be recovered from the median.

All lanes were reopened at 12:50pm after moving the vehicle to the right side of the northbound lanes.
