Rollover crash in Ferndale sends 1 to the hospital

FERNDALE, Wash. — Traffic was snarled around Main Street and Barrett Road about 5pm today, July 20th, due to a rollover crash.

According to Ferndale Police Sergeant Kevin Davis, 2 cars were driving alongside one another northbound on Barrett from Main when 1 attempted a U-turn not realizing the other car was in the lane to the left. Somehow, and Davis was certain of the mechanics that caused it, the car in the left lane rolled onto the driver’s side and ended up that way in the middle of the road.

Whatcom County Fire District 7 responded and stabilized the car on its side. They transported the driver of the rolled car to PeaceHealth St Joseph’s Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries according to WCFD7 Division Chief Ben Boyko.
