Drivers are advised to expect delays due to a road striping scheduled on Main Street in downtown Ferndale on Saturday, September 10th. Whatcom County Public Works and Ferndale Public Works crews will be refreshing traffic lines between the Nooksack River bridge and Sterling Avenue to the west.
Ferndale Public Works Supervisor Bo Westford told Whatcom News the work is scheduled for between 1pm and 4pm.
No parking signs have been placed on Main Street advising owners to move their vehicles prior to when the work begins.
Cones will mark recently striped areas and will remain until the paint is dry. Streets will remain open, but traffic may be slowed by the rolling work crew.
This work had previously been scheduled for last month but had to be postponed due to rain in the weather forecast.
