A black 2005 Toyota Scion was reported stolen from the parking lot outside Mt Baker Lanes Friday night. This morning, Monday, January 25th, Ferndale police responded to a call that it had been located less than a mile away in the parking lot behind Chihuahua’s Mexican Restaurant.
The Ferndale Police officer who responded found the vehicle locked and it appeared undamaged inside and out. The owner was contacted and surveillance video from neighboring businesses at both locations were going to be reviewed by police.
