As was previously forewarned, Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) crews will be conducting an inspection of the I-5 bridges over the Nooksack River in the upcoming days and will require shutting down one lane at a time to get that done.
The expected schedule for the lane closures between the Main Street and Portal Way interchanges from 9am to 2pm Monday to Thursday is as follows:
Monday, April 11 – The left lane of northbound I-5 will be closed.
Tuesday, April 12 — The right lane of northbound I-5 will be closed.
Wednesday, April 13 – The right lane of southbound I-5 will be closed.
Thursday, April 14 – The left lane of southbound I-5 will be closed.
Expect delays in the area during these times.
