Prevention of cyber security attacks against businesses topic of Whatcom Community College event

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Experts warn that cyber attacks have surged among all businesses, big and small. Whatcom Community College (WCC) is partnering with cyber security organizations to host an event that will cover how to protect from such attacks and how to plan cyber security and computer technology employee hiring strategies.

The Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CCoE) of Washington State in collaboration with the National Cybersecurity Training and Education Center (NCyTE) are partnering with WCC to present the “Securing the Next Generation of Technology Workers” event. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24th, from 3pm to 6pm at WCC Heiner Center.

Attendees are asked to register for the event.
