Ferndale area neighbors can expect to wake up to another round of powerful winds Sunday, November 19th, according to current weather forecast computer models.
Strong southerly winds with gusts over 50mph are currently expected between 12am and 6pm Sunday. The 24-hour forecast for rainfall expects a half-inch Sunday.
National Weather Service Seattle office forecasters say “a strong Pacific storm” that “promises to bring locally heavy rain and strong winds” is expected to impact western Washington but have yet to issue any wind advisories. The current NWS forecast for the Ferndale area places the strongest winds between 4am and 1pm on Sunday.
