BLAINE, Wash. — City of Blaine Power and Light reported about 1:30pm on Wednesday, August 28th, that residents in the Salishan neighborhood were without power.
We are currently experiencing a power outage affecting the Salishan neighborhood and surrounding areas. Our utility crews are aware of the situation and are actively working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

The cause of the outage was under investigation at the time of the report.
Update 4:30pm: City officials report power has been restored. No cause for the outage was provided.
