POINT ROBERTS, Wash. — Puget Sound Energy (PSE) reports 1,468 customer addresses across Point Roberts were without power today, Friday, September 5, 2025.
The outage was first reported about 12:05pm. Whatcom County Fire District 5, serving Point Roberts, was dispatched to the 1500 block of Edwards Drive about the same time due to reports of wires arching.
As of 1pm, the estimate for restoring power is 4pm. No cause has been determined and remains under investigation.
A PSE update at 1:35pm cited “trees/vegetation” as the cause and said all but 65 addresses had power restored.
