The number affected by wind-related power outages has reached 3000 in and around Ferndale. Some have reported their power being restored as others report losing power.

Neighbors are reporting power has been restored in some areas.

As winds are gusting at 40+ MPH, Puget Sound Energy reports a power outage in the Church Road and Mount View Road area.
According to PSE the initial report came at about 9:50am and over 1750 customers are affected. The standard two-hour No estimate for restoring power has been given.
