City of Ferndale Public Works Project Manager Katy Radder told Ferndale City Councilmembers at last Wednesday’s Public Works Committee meeting construction of a planned compact single-lane roundabout on Portal Way, between the I-5 northbound on- and off-ramps, is scheduled to begin Monday, July 23rd. A last-minute change has pushed that date to July 30th, according to City staff.
Drivers can expect delays through the area and on- and off- ramp closures during the project.
Project completion is expected mid to late-August.
