Police respond to alarm at credit union branch

Ferndale Police and Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a hold-up alarm at the Whatcom Educational Credit Union this afternoon about 3pm.

After officers and a deputy had taken up positions surrounding the branch, the manager inside let dispatchers know it had been a false alarm.
