Plan on traffic delays on Main Street

UPDATE 1/7/15 – Slater Road has reopened.

With no indication that Slater Road will be reopening soon, be aware that traffic on Main Street is already backed up and can only expect to worsen come the evening rush hour.

Alternative routes from I-5 to reach west Ferndale destinations worth considering include

1. Take the Portal Way exit, turn left and take 2nd Avenue to Washington Street
2. Take the Portal Way exit, turn right and follow Portal Way back across I-5 to Brown Road
3. Take the Grandview exit, turn left follow Grandview to Vista Drive
