The repaving of I-5 between Blaine and Ferndale continues and with it the repaving of interchange ramps.
This week, the I-5 interchange ramps at Grandview Road (Exit 266) are scheduled to be closed over four days according to the contractor’s project manager.
The closures are scheduled to occur between 7pm and 6am as follows:
- Monday night – northbound on- and off-ramps
- Tuesday night – southbound on- and off-ramps
- Wednesday night – northbound on- and off-ramps
- Thursday night – southbound on- and off-ramps
Drivers can also expect I-5 to be reduced to one lane through the work areas during these times.
The resurfacing project marks the first time this stretch of I-5 has been repaved since 1998.
