For those of you who did not have to or could not venture out this morning, below are some views of the widely varying road conditions around the area before noon today, February 4.
For many, getting out of a parking spot, down a driveway or through a side street were the biggest challenges.
There were visibly big differences in road conditions between main arterials which had been prepared with deicer, had been plowed and were well-traveled versus unplowed roads. No big swing in temperature though, as it ranged between 28 and 31 degrees.
