FERNDALE, Wash. — Whatcom County Public Works announced a contractor crew is scheduled to pave a section of Slater Road, work that is expected to create significant delays on Monday, November 13th.
This work is scheduled between 7am to 6pm on a section of Slater Road between Haxton Way and Imhof Road. Motorists can expect lane closures through the work area with flaggers alternating traffic. As a result, significant delays are expected and alternate routes are recommended.
The paving is being done to repair a rough section of the roadway on the eastern approach of the Red River bridge.
