Signs Plus workers finished the customizations on the “Golden Eagles” electronic message center (EMC) so they were able to deliver and install it at Ferndale High School this morning, January 19th.
The boards are not expected to come to life anytime soon since the many needed connections, including power, are still in the works. Once activated, the reader boards are intended to provide an means for the school and clubs to notify the community and students of upcoming events and other messaging.
The boards are a result of the efforts of the Ferndale Golden Eagles Booster Club and the Ferndale School District and financed by a donation from the Lummi Indian Business Council (LIBC).
