It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ernest Mackafee Roberts (AKA The Voice) on January 18, 2025, at the age of 67.
Ernest was born on November 14, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri, and spent over 25 years of his life in Bellingham, where he built a community filled with love, faith, and friendship.
He is survived by his beloved children, Sahasha, Starleigh, Jordan, and Isaiah, as well as his cherished grandchildren, distant siblings, dear friends, and his devoted church family.
Ernest was known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith. His voice, whether through song, wisdom, or encouragement, touched the lives of many. He could often be found walking around town, always ready for a conversation with a friendly face.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on February 20, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Christ the King Church
