Darby Anne Bennett (b. Aug. 22, 1970; Boulder, CO) committed suicide due to loss of HOPE on December 2, 2023.
She leaves behind longtime boyfriend of 12 years, Johann Tyson Lux of Blaine, WA, her estranged parents Carlee Jean and Troy Marvin Bennett, Jr., of Minden, NV, her estranged sister Marna Lynn Stoove of North Las Vegas, NV, her Aunt and Uncle Nancy and Gary Ratay of Littleton, CO, her Aunt DeeAnna Essert of Aurora, CO, her cousins Brian Essert of Colorado Springs, CO and Scott Essert of Missoula, MT along with various family members scattered across the country.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Myra Sauer Ratay and Vlad Ratay, her paternal grandparents, Mildred Bennett and Troy Marvin Bennett, Sr., half-uncle Francis (Frank) Ratay and cousin Bradley Essert. She will be cremated and her remains, along with the remains of her beloved animal companions Peanut, Bonnye, Tyger, Smokie, Betty and Bugsyman, will be interred in the Sauer family plot located in Washoe Valley, NV.
There will be no services. In lieu of contributions, please make donations to local animal shelters or environmental rights groups of your choice.
