The Ferndale School District issued this message via their website this evening.
Approximately 30 minutes ago (4:30 pm), a Ferndale School District passenger van with two teachers and six students in it was traveling south for tonight’s football jamboree when it was rear-ended on I-5 near the Guide Meridian exit. No one was injured. The students and a teacher are being transported onto the jamboree event in another vehicle. The second teacher will remain with the van. The state patrol is investigating the incident.
