Haven Design Workshop (HDW) purchased the lot in Griffintown at the corner of Eaton Street and 2nd Avenue back in 2015. Since then, according to HDW Owner and Architect Sean Hegstad, he and his team have been working on developing the lot. One primary tenant was at the forefront of their considerations. The HDW office would be located there.
Before they could begin developing the site, an existing house needed to be demolished and that happened last year.
Construction is currently under way for the two-story multi-use building HDW designed.
According to HDW’s website, in addition to their offices, there will also be “three townhouses, and two lofts as part of the building. Each unit will be about 1,250 square feet and have an open living area with kitchen, eating, entertaining space, and deck/patio, and three bedrooms and two baths.”
