Nearby: Bellingham Police ask assistance in identifying suspected bank robber

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Yesterday, August 29th, law enforcement were dispatched to a branch of the Industrial Credit Union on Northwest Avenue in Bellingham about 3:45pm due to a report of a robbery alarm.

Law enforcement from several agencies swarmed the area looking for a vehicle matching a witness description but were unsuccessful.

Today, Bellingham Police released a photo of a suspect. He is described as a white male with light complexion in his 20s or 30s and of medium build. He was wearing a red hoody, blue jeans black shoes and sunglasses.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Detective Hauri at 360-778-8791 or the BPD Anonymous Tip Line at 360-778-8611 or online at cob.org/tips.
