Monday morning update

6:40am: Good morning. No incidents in or around Ferndale so far.

The commute currently appears unchallenged. That being said, the temperature around Ferndale is at 32°F, give or take a degree, and dropping so drivers should be alert for black ice or other potentially frozen surfaces.

The forecast calls for rain showers early becoming a steady light rain for the afternoon. A high of 43°F and winds from the east at 5 to 10 mph are expected. Precipitation can be seen approaching and an hour or two away per the radar.
