What you missed at yesterday’s community forum (photos/videos)

The City of Ferndale (COF) hosted a community forum Tuesday night in the Pioneer Pavilion Community Center. The approximately 100 attendees heard presentations about upcoming projects and planning by the COF Public Works Director, Community Development Director and Parks and Recreation Lead.

Attendees could also get information from groups that had set up information tables around the room including Ferndale School District, local churches, Ferndale CERT (Civilian Emergency Response Team), the Ferndale Tree Board and Boys and Girls Clubs.

Attendees were invited to participate in a blind taste survey of six different water sources, including the COF water system. Near the end of the forum, the results were announced. From the combined rankings of the 33 who participated, Ferndale water finished last with Lynden water coming in first.
