The Annual Festival of Flags at Greenacres Memorial Park is scheduled to begin this year at noon on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28th.
This will be the 53rd year of this annual event presented by Moles Farewell Tributes.
Parking will be accessible via Northwest Drive on the north side of Greenacres Memorial Park. There will be limited amount of handicap parking available for those displaying a permit.
Seating will be limited. Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs.

Over 1,700 Veterans’ flags will line the “Avenue of Flags” at Greenacres Memorial Park located at the corner of W Axton Road and Northwest Drive.
Festival music and food will be available at noon followed by a 2pm Remembrance Ceremony featuring flag delivery by a Customs and Border Protection helicopter and dove release, speakers, kids activities and crafts along with various booths with information for local veterans.
This year a Korean War Memorial will be unveiled, honoring those who served in the Korean War.
