Those “No Parking” signs along Main Street warning not to park there tomorrow, Friday, September 4th, have been taken down. They were put up due to a rescheduled lane striping painting project that would focus on the bike lanes near parking spaces. But now that project has been rescheduled yet again.
The original date had to be rescheduled due to the forecast of rain and the need for dry weather to do the work. Tomorrow’s forecast includes the “Slight chance of a rain shower” and that’s enough to call it off. The new date for closing parking along Main Street and doing the painting is Wednesday, September 9th. The long-term weather forecast for then currently predicts 10% chance of rain.
